Amal Kenawy es egpcia, vive en el cairo. Durante ocho meses estuvo trabajando en una obra de teatro imaginaria de trozos de cuerpo (como siza, ¿a qué viene esa obsesión por los desmembramientos?) y además dice cosas como esta:

"Memory is guide. Receptacle of all things true and twisted, past and evolving, memory keeps its own parallel track of life. It grapples with what the days and years bring, resonates with everything we sense and experience. It overpowers, pre-empts. "
